If you’re an experienced GP Anaesthetist or GP Obstetrician looking for flexibility, meaningful hospital-based work, and exceptional rates, this role in Carnarvon could be your perfect match.
The Position
- Hospital-based locum at Carnarvon Health Service, WA
- Blended Rural Generalist role: Emergency plus Anaesthetics or Obstetrics (depending on your scope)
- Friendly, well-supported team with visiting specialists
- Flexible roster - commit to as little as 2 weeks or extend your stay
- Direct flights from Perth make access easy

From August 2025 onward
Minimum 2-week block | Ongoing and repeat bookings welcome
Benefits Provided
- $2,835 per day for eligible Rural Generalists
- Negotiated rate available for SMO (non-fellowed) applicants
- All travel and accommodation covered (flights, car, housing)
- Complete support from Prescript - onboarding, credentialing, and logistics
What We Require From You
- AHPRA Specialist registration with FRACGP or FACRRM
- ALS2 certification
- JCCA (Anaesthetics) and/or DRANZCOG or DRANZCOG Advanced (Obstetrics)
- Experience in rural or remote hospital settings
