The Position

Broome Hospital is seeking a FACEM to join their Emergency Department team on a short-term locum basis. You’ll be supported by experienced clinical staff, working in a well-equipped hospital that services a wide and varied caseload—from critical trauma to tropical medicine.

  • Role: FACEM

  • Location: Broome Hospital, WA

  • Daily Rate: $2,600

  • Shifts: Includes a mix of day, evening, and weekend shifts

  • Minimum Commitment: Two weeks

This role offers a balance of clinical challenge, team collaboration, and cultural immersion in one of Australia’s most stunning remote settings.

About Broome

Broome is located in the far north of Western Australia, on the Indian Ocean coast where the red desert meets turquoise sea. It’s known for its laid-back pace, tropical climate, and rich cultural history.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • FACEM

  • Emergency Medicine experience in rural or remote settings

  • Current emergency certifications such as ALS2, APLS, EMST, or equivalent

Broome is well suited to doctors who thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable working with autonomy when needed.
