We’re working with Latrobe Regional Health to fill two urgent psychiatry positions in Victoria. One is a fully remote telehealth shift. The other is an inpatient role at a recovery-focused mental health unit. Both are well-supported, well-compensated, and offer the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to regional care.
The Position
We’re looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist to take on either of the following roles:
Telehealth — Bairnsdale Patients
Fully remote
Friday, 4 April 2025
08:30–16:30
$2,200 per day
Inpatient Mental Health — Flynn Unit, Latrobe Regional Hospital
Onsite in Gippsland, VIC
Monday 7 – Friday 11 April 2025
08:30–16:30 each day
$2,500 per day
Travel and accommodation covered by the health service
The Flynn Unit supports adults experiencing mental health challenges with a focus on treatment, education and rehabilitation — helping patients return to their communities safely and confidently.

Fellowship with RANZCP
Current AHPRA Specialist Registration
Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or valid working rights
