GP Locum with the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) | Restore Care to Rural NSW

$1,500/day | Flights, car & accommodation provided | Mon–Fri only

Prescript is proud to partner with the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) – Eastern Section to restore reliable primary care to two regional NSW communities in need. These are the kinds of locum placements where your presence will have a genuine impact — and where the team around you is ready to make sure everything runs smoothly from day one.

You'll be working in RFDS-led clinics in Central West and Orana NSW — two welcoming towns with strong community spirit and new investment in long-term healthcare. The clinics are well-supported with experienced nurses, admin staff and a dedicated Practice Manager. These roles offer a perfect balance of meaningful general practice and the lifestyle benefits of a Monday–Friday schedule with no after-hours or weekend work.

How to Get There from Sydney
Prescript handles all travel logistics so you can focus on the medicine.

  • Condobolin (Central West NSW): Fly Sydney to Parkes (daily Rex flights), then 90-minute drive. We’ll arrange your return flights, car hire and accommodation.

  • Warren (Orana NSW): Fly Sydney to Dubbo (multiple daily flights), then 90-minute drive to Warren — or opt to drive from Sydney in under 6 hours.
