The Position
This is a FACEM role in a well-resourced ED designed for clinical excellence. Whether you’re seeking weekend shifts or regular blocks, this opportunity is ideal for experienced emergency physicians looking for autonomy.
Role: FACEM
Location: Maitland Hospital, Hunter Region, NSW
Rate: $3,100 per day
Shifts: 10:00–20:00 (10 hours)
Team Support: 7 senior doctors rostered per day
Emergency Beds: 24
Annual ED Presentations: 54,000+
Facility Overview: 339 inpatient beds, ED Short Stay Unit (opened June 2024), modern ICU, maternity unit, chemotherapy centre, and dedicated paediatrics and mental health wings.
