ED Registrar – $160–$170/hr | Ongoing Locum Shifts from August 2025 | Regional Victoria

Bairnsdale Regional Health Service (BRHS) offers a well-supported Emergency Department with a welcoming team culture and modern facilities. The Position

Role: ED Registrar
Pay: $160–$170 per hour
Roster: Shifts available across days, evenings and nights (0700–1700, 1400–2400, 2230–0830)
Medical Team: Day – 1 x SMO, 1 x Registrar, 1 x HMO; Night – 1 x Registrar, 1 x HMO, SMO on call
Emergency Department: 27 ED beds, 2 resuscitation bays, 2 procedure rooms, 2 isolation units, ~24,000 annual presentations

Getting There: 280km east of Melbourne – about a 3.5-hour drive via Princes Highway or V/Line train from Southern Cross Station.

Dates Available

Shifts available from 4 August through to late September 2025. Priority need during early and mid-August and select dates in September. Choose what suits your schedule.

Requirements

PGY4+ with recent Emergency Medicine experience
ALS2 certification
Availability for at least one of the available shifts
